Ingots
Description
Ingots are a primary semi-product obtained by the solidification of liquid steel directly poured into a metal mold and destined to be subsequently transformed until it is endowed with a specific shape and characteristics. Reinosa Forgings & Castings has a wide range of mold sizes for the manufacture of ingots, which helps improve their performance and provides greater flexibility in terms of what dimensions of the final product can be achieved.
Specifications
Square ingot: from 2.500 Kg to 3.000 Kg
Polygonal ingot: from 4.000 Kg to 78.000 Kg
Round ingot: available soon
Heat treatment: controlled cooling, normalized or annealed depending on the steel grade and ingot size
Delivery condition: top and bottom cropped by default. Specific delivery condition need to be studied per case.
